Trigonometry

Steps

  • 1 Know the Solving concept.
  • 2 Know how to solve basic trig equations.
  • 3 Learn the Transformations used in solving trig equations.
  • 4 Find the arcs whose trig functions are known.
  • 5 Graph the solution arcs on the trig unit circle.
  • 6 Learn the Approaches to solve trig equations.
  • 7 Solve special types of trig equations.
  • 8 Learn the Periodic Property of trig functions.

Surface Area

Steps

  • 1 Know the parts of the equation, Surface Area = 4πr2. ...
  • 2 Find the radius of the sphere.
  • 3 Square the radius by multiplying it by itself.
  • 4 Multiply this result by 4.
  • 5 Multiply the results by pi (π).
  • 6 Remember to add you units to the final answer.
  • 7 Practice with an example.
  • 8 Understand surface area.

                   Pythagoras' Theorem

  1. Identify the values of a, b, and c, where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse of the right triangle.
  2. Plug a, b, and c into the formula a^2 + b^2 = c^2.
  3. Simplify the equation by multiplying each number times itself and adding or subtracting as needed.
  4. Solve for the missing value by taking the square root of both sides.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is math Important in the real world

ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING IS MATH!!! The circuit topography which runs your computers and phones, the electromagnetic waves (represented as trigonometric equations) which transport data between telecommunications devices (otherwise known as making a call, text, web search, etc.), etc. The thing is that you can’t really understand how something is used unless you understand what is being used.
